Improved accessibility<\/h3>\n\n

In an ongoing effort to improve our software, we\u2019ve made {platform} more accessible. Navigating through the user interface with your keyboard or a screen reader has become more streamlined. It\u2019s now possible to navigate most lists or trees with the keyboard, and focused elements are now easier to recognize as such. We plan to keep improving accessibility in future releases.<\/p>\n\n

OPC UA<\/h3>\n\n

OPC UA data point filters are now created automatically on reconciliation and displayed in their actual tree structure when they\u2019re assigned to a group. This will make it easier to select a specific path in your OPC UA tree when searching for objects in order to place them on widgets such as Charts or Schematics.<\/p>\n\n

We\u2019ve also added some settings on the Beetle user interface that you can use to tweak the connection to your OPC UA server.<\/p>\n\n

Adding new items quicker<\/h3>\n\n

In order to speed up the process of creating several objects of the same kind quickly, we\u2019ve added a new button to some of our dialogs that enable you to add another object without leaving the dialog.<\/p>\n\n

Configure email server on Alcedo Inhouse<\/h3>\n\n

The email server in Alcedo Inhouse systems can now be configured on the user interface. You can now edit the configuration yourself and no longer need to contact support.<\/p>\n\n

Bug fixes and improvements<\/h2>\n\n

  • Fixed connectivity issues that might have occurred after some Beetle updates and added a preliminary disk space check before applying updates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Stopped redundant polling for OPC UA COV updates and improved general OPC UA error handling.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Fixed duplicate BACnet Device Object, added a BACnet watchdog cronjob to ensure automatic recovery, reduced trend log storage resolution to seconds and improved handling of transitions from periodic to COV recording.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Improved Redis AOF reliability by introducing periodic recovery handling.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Enabled Gentoo-based Docker builds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
