Comprehensive BTL listing
BACnet Testing Laboratories has renewed its listing of Avelon. Avelon Beetle BACnet Services are listed under the AWS profile and revision 26. This is the most recent revision for which testing procedures (BTL test plan version 26) are offered.
BACnet Testing Laboratories: Ensuring Interoperability
The BACnet Testing Laboratories (BTL) were established by BACnet International. Their goal is to promote and conduct conformance and interoperability testing for BACnet products. The BTL is responsible for the globally recognized BACnet product certification program.
A BTL certificate and listing ensure that the high standards for interoperability between different devices are met.
TÜV testing and listing
The certificate is based on the test report from TÜV SÜD. Over a period of six months, TÜV put the Avelon Beetle BACnet Services through their paces. This also included testing for BACnet Secure Connect (BACnet/SC), which ensures encrypted data exchange within buildings.
